Feed the hungry, and help those in need.  Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as the noonday sun. Isaiah 58:10

Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

~2 Corinthians 9:6-8

~Recognize the Open Doors. Every day you have an opportunity to be a light in someone's life. ...

~Act in These Moments. I realize some of these opportunities may only present themselves once.

Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind. ~1 Peter 3:8

One gives freely, yet grows all the richer; another withholds what he should give, and only suffers want. Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered.
~Proverbs 11:24–25

Watch for Opportunities

by Kyle Idleman

As a church, we are committed to watching for the opportunities before us through prayer, teaching, and sacrifice, and by trusting God to give us a deeper vision and purpose in every aspect of our lives.

Lost in Niceness

Jesus changed the world one person at a time...

Time and again, Jesus went out of His way for one. It might seem impractical or even reckless, but He was willing to go all in for one. Who is the one we need to focus our attention on finding? How impractical and reckless might we become for one?

In Then Through

We want God to do great things through us, but He almost always wants to do something in us first. Maybe the best way to be a person of impact is not to say, “God, what do You want to do through me?” but instead, “God, what do You want to do in me?”
