DLG Clerisy Guild

Faith, Fellowship and Fraternity

For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

Matthew 18:20

DLG Clerisy Guild is a united group of individuals working together to help encourage and support each other in our personal lives, businesses, families, and vocations trusting God to work through us for His purpose. Our guild is based on our servant leadership philosophy that the most effective leaders strive to serve others.

They Broke Bread in Their Homes And Ate Together With Glad And Sincere Hearts. ~Acts 2:46

Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind. ~1 Peter 3:8

One gives freely, yet grows all the richer; another withholds what he should give, and only suffers want. Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered.

~Proverbs 11:24–25

“Iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another”  ~Proverbs 27:17

Feed the hungry, and help those in need. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as the noonday sun. Isaiah 58:10

Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

~2 Corinthians 9:6-8

Jesus changed the world one person at a time...

Time and again, Jesus went out of His way for one. It might seem impractical or even reckless, but He was willing to go all in for one. Who is the one we need to focus our attention on finding? How impractical and reckless might we become for one?

In Then Through

We want God to do great things through us, but He almost always wants to do something in us first. Maybe the best way to be a person of impact is not to say, “God, what do You want to do through me?” but instead, “God, what do You want to do in me?”
